Joint Campus Recruitment Drive on April 03, 2013 by WIPRO Technologies for WASE and WiSTA programs


WASE & WiSTA are higher education programs run by Wipro in collaboration with BITS Pilani and VIT Vellore. Under these flagship programs students get to do their Masters degree from these 2 reputed Universities and simultaneously get to work in Wipro on various live projects.

The entire cost for doing the Masters degree from these 2 Universities is borne by Wipro which even includes the exam fees, book allowance etc. These programs are for 4 years and all the classes, exams etc are conducted at Wipro offices across India. Wipro have Trainers /Lecturers from BITS and VIT coming over to their premises and conducting classes for all the WASE & WiSTA candidates.

Upon successful completion of these programs candidates are absorbed as fulltime employees of Wipro and are paid salaries as per market standards. The masters� degree offered to qualifying students is a fulltime degree from both the Universities.

During the 4 years of the masters degree, below stipend is paid to the students to cover their personal expenses. Apart from this other benefits like medical insurance etc is also taken care by Wipro. These programs run under a tag line called EARN WHILE YOU LEARN�. The candidates hired under these programs are designated as Project Engineers.
